Why Suspended Ceiling?
It is 94% lighter than the classic ceiling, it does not load the ceiling. Easy and quick to install and disassemble. Resistant to fire. Prevents echoing and heat loss, swallows noise. Moisture resistant, no sweating. It is hygienic, does not produce bacteria. Easy to clean. Aesthetics, hides ventilation ducts, sanitary installations and electrical equipment.
Ceiling and Suspended Ceiling Materials
The ceiling, which forms the fourth sub-system of the floor, is the part visible to the floor when viewed from below. Hence, the ceiling is a valid concept only for six spaces. A ceiling should be handled according to the functions of the floor covering the flooring, depending on the flooring system and material.
The carrier system of the flooring requires different construction systems depending on the openness of the space it covers. The six flat ceilings, regardless of the bearing system and its material, do not pose much more than decoration and appearance. It can be solved with a suspended ceiling in which there are different problems between the lower and upper volumes of the slab, with or without six straight or that some necessary arrangements can be made in terms of the underlying space.
In this context, the reasons that require a suspended ceiling;

It is not enough to consider the concept of ceiling and suspended ceiling as a means to solve these problems. Another important function of the ceiling is that it is one of the basic elements in the formation of architectural space.
Especially suspended ceilings, meeting and conference halls where people live and use in collective, hotel lobbies, offices, terminal buildings, restaurants, casinos, hospitals, department stores, sports halls, indoor swimming pools, subway and so on. It is widely used in public buildings as one of the main features of the formation of architectural space both in order to fulfill the functions listed above.
An intermittent or direct detection of any material other than plastering the existing conveyor system is considered as a suspended ceiling.
Suspended ceiling constructions are generally divided into two;
- Suspended Ceilings which are prepared with ready made ceiling material,
- Built-in Suspended Ceilings
Apart from these two applications, suspended ceilings with some features of both applications can be called composite suspended ceilings.
